These speakers were made between 1980 and 1985 and were the top of the line JBL Bookshelf system. They sold for $1100.00 U.S. per pair at that time. They can handle 300 watts RMS per channel without distortion which mean you can play them very loud! The L112 will also operate on as little as 20 watts per channel with moderate volume. If you like the famous L100 century speakers than you will love these L112 speakers because they can handle a lot more power and have a clearer sound at high volume.

The speaker cabinets cosmetically are in EXCELLENT condition. The cabinets have been treated with Oil Soap to clean and then lightly overall with Linseed Oil. Under normal lighting conditions, unless you look closely for them, you will not notice any deficiencies with these speakers. The grills are in good original condition but could be improved with new cloth. The JBL logos are in place on the grills. If you are one of those who prefer to listen without grills in place, the condition of the grills is of no real importance to you. Surrounds on the woofers and all other drivers are in excellent condition. NO DENTS - NOTE the tweeter grills are fine but may look distorted due to light refraction in the pictures.

The sound will be very satisfying with these speakers. Your neighbors may or may not agree. Approx. 55lbs @ boxed, enclosure: 14 ½” wide x 11 “ deep x 24 ½” high. Buyer pays actual shipping and $10.00 per speaker for a box and packing materials. Shipping is fully insured and tracked.
