The Sierra Cal Aero Club is an all volunteer, non-profit flying club dedicated to promoting General aviation and providing our members with well-maintained, inexpensive airplanes. We are based at the East side of field at Reno-Taho International Airport, off of South Rock Blvd. Reno, Nevada. We have four rental aircraft -- three Cessna 172's -- Two Cherokee Archers II -- and a Cessna 152 -- that are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for club members. Membership fees consist of a $70 refundable deposit and dues of $20.00 per month. Read more about the club or view and download the application on our signup page. Our aircraft are accessible 24 hours a day via our web-based reservation system, and we maintain a generous policy for overnight and weekend reservations. You will not find a friendlier or more accessible club in our area. (However, please keep in mind that this is an all-volunteer club, and we really welcome members who can assist in club activities from time-to-time.)
