Aloha
Isn't the name "Aloha" the most perfect name for a guide dog puppy? In fact, Aloha is one of the sweetest, most cuddly Labrador you might ever meet. In one sense, Aloha is Bobbie Vance's first guide dog puppy. Yet, Bobbie has helped with the training of several guide dog puppies over the three years she has attended Eagle Valley Middle School. In the future, Bobbie plans to work in a vet hospital. For now, she has in her home: dogs, rabbits, birds, cats and two brothers and a sister. Aloha has lots of company.

This handsome little Lab-Golden cross began going to work at the Nevada State Supreme Court and the Nevada State Library his first week in Carson City. He is the third puppy the two MaMaSans have co-raised and the twelveth puppy between them. According to Christina, 'Sometimes Bingham acts like a Lab and other times he wakes up a Golden'.

Douglas
When Douglas came to live with Amy Arrington in South Lake Tahoe, winter snow was puppy high. Quickly he settled-in and made friends with Doubie and Floyd. It won't be long before Douglas becomes an honor-roll student in Ms. Arrington's fifth grade class at St. Theresa Elementary School.
In July 2003, the ringbearer at Amy's & Tyson's wedding was none other than Douglas. He was so handsome in his tux, black tie and tail.
It is always sad when a guide dog puppy must be dropped from the program. Despite elbow dysplesia Douglas is a wonderful puppy that will live a fulfilling life - as a family pet.

Steinbeck
Don't let his innocent looks fool you. Don't let his wonderful behavior in public lead you to think this is an easy dog to raise. Just ask experienced raiser Brigid Surber. She will tell you her elementary school classroom of twenty students hardly compares to the energy needed to keep Steinbeck under control. This young Lab is very creative when it comes to getting into trouble.
