Graduates 2001

Glaze
We are not sure if Glaze
understands algebraic coding theory, but her partner
Angie Matney of Charlottesville, Virginia certainly does.
Glaze won't be able to help Angie write her dissertation,
but she will make sure Angie gets around campus safely.
Co-raised by Carson City elementary teacher Bridget
Surber and middle school student Melissa Smith, Glaze
already knows how to transect an intersection with a
straight line. |

Kade
On March 10, Ms. Jeralyn "Caz"
Greer of Santa Rosa, Ca received "Kade"
raised by Warren & Claudia Wish. While growing-up
Kade had become an experienced airplane traveler. He most
enjoyed going to Chicago - riding the subway, watching a
White Sox's baseball game, visiting the Field Museum and
attending the NEA National Convention. |

Workman
On April 14, Mrs. Verlyn Baldwin of St.
George, Utah graduated with "Workman".
His primary raiser was Christina Van Hook, but he was a
puppy who enjoyed a far reaching fan club. Workman would
spend each day of the week at work with a different
person. Between Christina at State Personnel and Debbie
at Employment Security and going to classes with the
students at Eagle Valley Middle School, Workman got
around. Of course, there was always the day each week he
spent with Jessica going all around Carson City. |

Nash
July 28 was a big day in the life of guide
dog "Nash"
and his partner Jose Dipuglia from the Bronx, New York.
It was also a very special day for Nash's raisers Jesica
and Martin Sayles. Martin will tell you that he knew from
the day Nash was eight weeks old that he was destined to
become a guide. Jessica will tell you that a great deal
of time and dedicated went into the effort. |
