Bus Ride to Meadowood Mall
March 2002

It was a wonderful day riding the regional bus from Carson City to Reno and visiting the Meadowood Mall.

Puppies love babies. Babies love puppies. Puppies sleep and people eat.

On Star Trek it was called 'first contact' - the meeting of two species. For eleven month old guide dog puppy 'Dayton' and thirteen year old career change 'Lexus', it was a moment filled with wonderful curiosity and respectfulness.

Lots to do in Old town Sacramento, CA. The puppies rode the steam engine train, walked the boardwalks, went for a boat ride and enjoyed the farmers market.

Steinbeck even found time to take a nap.

National Education Association Representative Assembly
July 2002

The 2002 NEA Representative Assembly was held in Dallas, Texas. Two of the ten thousand delegates included Warren Wish and 15 month old Francois. Francois enjoyed staying at the Doubletree Hotel and visiting the Galleria Mall. He especially enjoyed riding the downtown light rail and visiting the Daily Plaza and the Sixth Floor museum.

For people, the annual trip to Apple Hill means eating delicious apple pie and browsing the crafts. For guide dog puppies, the trip means smelling the roses and making new animal friends.

Christmas Caroling

Our voices are often off-key. Our musical harmony is non existent. But, each year we join the staff and residents of the Eagle Valley Children's Home for Christmas caroling. Especially on this night, we share our love of guide dog puppies and respect for all people.
